Lower Saxony equips itself with 46 SAQUICK TITAN 2400 sandbag filling machines
Following the severe flooding disaster around Christmas 2023, the German federal state of Lower Saxony has significantly enhanced its disaster protection equipment. As a key element of this initiative, the state ordered a large number of our proven sandbag filling machines to better equip emergency response teams across the region. Delivery of all 46 SAQUICK TITAN 2400 machines took place in spring 2025.

SAQUICK has been your competent partner for sandbag filling machines and flood protection since 1993.
The development of the sandbag filling machine originated during a century flood in the Ortenau region, here in the Black Forest. Neither the fire brigade, the THW or local builders suppliers had any equipment for the mechanical filling of sandbags. Until 1993 this had to be done by hand with a shovel.
SAQUICK, was still Herrmann GmbH at that time, developed possibly the first sandbag filling machine as a supplier for pipe and sheet metal processing.
The SAQUICK machines are used successfully in Europe in dike defense, as mobile flood protection, or for ballasting in heavy construction, as self-sufficient solo machines or permanently installed on roll-off containers.
